These terms cover the A²ZERO Swaps kiosk and its impact pages, run by ZeroWaste.org, a nonprofit. By using them you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.

Using the kiosk

• Use it to record clothing you bring to, or take from, an A²ZERO clothing swap.
• Enter weights and details as accurately as you can; the swap's reported impact depends on them.
• Don't submit records for swaps that didn't happen, flood the kiosk with automated submissions, or try to get into parts of the site you haven't been given access to.

Organizer accounts

Organizer accounts are given out by the people who run the swaps. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. We may remove an account at any time.

Impact figures are estimates

Water, CO₂e, and other savings are estimated from the weight and type of clothing using published life-cycle averages. They are good-faith estimates for education and reporting, not measurements, and should not be relied on as exact.

No warranty

The kiosk is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and its records accurate, but we don't promise that it will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ZeroWaste.org is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the kiosk or its figures.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
